Description:
A combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines such as yoga and Pilates. The Barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps and light weight movements. No dance background required. All fitness levels welcomed.
Equipment needed: light dumbbells (1, 2, or 3 lbs.), and comfortable, breathable clothing. Barre is done in barre socks or socks with non-skid grips, or in shoes with overall support.
