Description:
Aloha! Come join us and learn the island way. Students will gain an appreciation for Hawaiian culture while learning steps, dance positions, hand motions, and choreography. Students will also learn some Hawaiian language and traditions while exploring the meaning of the story they are dancing to.
Hula promotes a healthy mind, heart, and body, and it's fun. This is a mix level class for beginners and for those who have had some experience learning hula. Participants will also have community performance opportunities or participants can choose to take this class for recreational purpose.
